Collaging by Mapping Inner Landscapes
Collage is a powerful and accessible medium for translating thoughts and feelings into a visual language. We will briefly look back in art history at a few artists who approach collage materials from unique perspectives. Using this inspiration as a jumping off point, we will tear through magazines and other materials to compose collages of our inner dreamscapes and unearth our personal or collective aspirations for a brighter future. Minimum 3 students; maximum 10 students.
Materials are provided. Students are encouraged to bring their own papers, photographs, and/or magazines to collage with.
Dates:
Wednesday, September 17 @ 6 - 8p
Thursday, October 9 @ 6 - 8p
Friday, November @ 6 - 8p
