What Was Given to Pass On
Life is an endless bounty of gifts, most of them small and routine, waiting to be noticed and admired. This body of work aims to celebrate and highlight the many treasures of daily life while creating an intimate symbolical personal library of moments in time. Often relating to food or what’s growing in the garden, these images often have the artist’s hands holding or relating to the material as a means of connecting with and grounding to the mundane beauties of routine.
